What Is ARMHS?
ARMHS is a long-term, rehabilitative program — not crisis intervention. It is designed for adults who are managing a mental health diagnosis and need structured, consistent support to stabilize and strengthen their daily lives. Services focus on building real-world skills across areas such as:
Managing daily routines and household responsibilities
Developing and maintaining healthy social relationships
Navigating employment, education, and community resources
Coping with symptoms and stress in everyday situations
Communicating effectively with healthcare providers and support systems
Medication management and health self-advocacy

Getting Started
At Deeku, we prioritize getting to know you thoroughly when you start ARMHS (Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services). Our admission process is designed to be comprehensive and supportive, beginning with both a diagnostic assessment and a functional assessment. These assessments are not intended to define or label you; instead, they serve as tools to gain a deep understanding of your current situation, your personal experiences, and your aspirations for the future.
Diagnostic Assessment
Through the diagnostic assessment, we explore your mental health history and any challenges you’ve faced. The functional assessment focuses on how these challenges affect your daily life, including your ability to perform daily tasks, engage in social relationships, and pursue your goals.
Functional Assessment
A comprehensive functional assessment (FA) is a detailed narrative that explores how an individual’s mental health symptoms influence their daily functioning across various roles and settings. This assessment not only examines the specific mental health symptoms the person may be experiencing—such as anxiety, depression, or mood fluctuations—but also delves into the ways these symptoms manifest in everyday life.
Individualized Treatment Plan
Once we have gathered this information, our team collaboratively develops an individualized treatment plan that is tailored specifically to you. This plan is not only grounded in your personal ambitions but also leverages your unique strengths and acknowledges your specific needs. Our ultimate goal is to create a supportive roadmap that empowers you to take meaningful steps toward achieving the life you envision for yourself.
Ongoing Services
At Deeku, the ARMHS (Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services) program is designed to provide personalized support over a duration that can range from one month to a year. The length of your involvement in the program is tailored to your unique progress and individual needs.
Throughout the program, participants can expect to receive services anywhere from one to five times per week, ensuring a flexible yet consistent approach to care. You will primarily work with a dedicated practitioner who will be your main point of contact throughout your time in the program. This intentional focus on consistency is crucial; it helps to build a solid trust between you and your practitioner, which is essential for effective therapeutic progress.
Establishing a stable, ongoing relationship allows for a deeper understanding of your specific circumstances and fosters a nurturing environment for your growth. This continuity in care translates to improved outcomes, as the services and strategies provided are tailored to fit seamlessly into your life.
