Discover Meaning in Recovery
Deeku is a traditional Karenni food and the centerpiece of an annual festival celebrating unity and freedom among the Karenni people. In this tradition, rice is carefully wrapped and bound into bundles — three parcels tied together, each one gaining strength from the others.
We chose this name deliberately. Viewed through the lens of healthcare, Deeku is a living metaphor for what we believe:
A patient is not a single grain of rice; they are part of a bundle. When we tie our expertise to their lived experience, we create a bond that is unbreakable.
At Deeku, the bundle has three parts:

We serve adults, children, families, immigrants, refugees, veterans, and members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. We proudly accept Medicaid and work with a wide range of insurance providers to ensure cost is never a barrier to care.
Our team has deep roots in communities that have experienced displacement and trauma firsthand. We provide services to refugees and immigrants from Burma and the broader Karenni diaspora, offering culturally attuned care that honors where you come from as part of where you are going.
